- I'm an aspiring fantasy novelist. I define aspiring as "procrastinating, getting caught up in work and non-productive hobbies like videogames while still clinging to a shred of hope that I will develop the discipline needed to finish a novel". In the meantime, I write short stories, and work at a small ad agency doing creative work... mostly copywriting, with a little art direction and design thrown in.

only douches say ennui, and mean it. real people call it melancholy. or "the mopes".
its nice to have such a supportive best friend.
I support you. just think you should use language like "in the shit" rather than "ennui". thats all.
